Grew a gdb and just like ECW said in his review my cultivar came out black /purple dark buds very loud smell and does taste like purple koolaid but without the sugar lolQuality
Only issue was it was a foxtaily cultivar and I didn’t like harvesting it at all!!!

I'm a beginner grower. I grew 2 seeds of GDB in autopots with coco in 2 separate grows. First grow, I had poor results (from my inexperience and errors I made). Second time, I harvested 4-5ish oz from one plant. It smells awesome, the effects are calming but can be used during the day. If you're a grandaddy purple fan (like me), I highly recommend the grandaddy black strain. It's really easy to grow, but it can be starving in flower phase.Quality

Great strain, very sedative. Used purpinator and had dark purple/black buds all over the place that smelled like grape koolaid. Required extra CalMag throughout flowering. Took 10 full weeks to mature during different grows in different conditions (indoor DWC and outdoor). (Posted on 11/30/2021)Quality - Solid Strain / Genetics. Very pleased with this strain. Popped in less than 24 to germinate, rapid aggressive growth and veg, flowered like it was on steroids with beautiful dense and nicely coloured flowers. Harvest in one week. I’m sure I will have nothing less than wonderful things to say about the final product. Highly recommend. Thanks Canuk. Grew 7 plants in coco. Yielded around a pound and a half of flower that tested at 21% THC, .05 CBD, 1.8 CBN. It smokes beautifully, with a smooth taste and it vapes even better, with a real floral/fruity quality that comes through nicely at 390 degrees.Quality
The high is nicely sedattative. For the first 15 minutes I felt like I had somebody’s hand gently pressing on my forehead, gluing me to my couch, that gave way to a giggly kind of euphoria that came with real relief of my arthritic pain. Plant smells great in veg &flower. Like almost a mint Hawaiian punch drink. In living soil the plant does great in veg but starves for calcium in flower. Grow room is also a little warm for the indica dominant, but other strains are doing better. Still seems like a keeper. Would recommend (Posted on 5/4/2019)Quality
