Kushy Kush Feminized Seeds (Canuk Seeds) - A Quick Overview

Kushy Kush from Canuk Seeds is as kushy as Kush gets!

You can expect amber trichomes and exquisitely dense buds.

The flavor and aroma of this strain is to be expected: sweet and pungent-pure dankness.

With a flowering period of around six weeks, this bushy plant produces THC levels between 22-24%.

When it comes to consumption, you can Expect a mostly-indica experience.

The high itself is uplifting and clear - not sedating.

If you’re into training your plant, Kushy Kush is great from the scrog method.

Awesome Indoor Plant - Review by Denkawa
Quality
Have grown outdoors for several years and chose Kushy Kush (free seed) for 1st time indoor grow using screened 3x3 tent with 1000 LED. 2 Gallon pot with Ocean Forest with some additional grow and bloom nutes (and molasses). Fimed 6th node for 5 colas, and lollipoped a few weeks later. 60 days of veg from germ before flipping. Only 18 inches tall but thick and stout. Turned light off for 48 hours for complete dark stress before harvesting. Harvested at 66 days (9 weeks) from first flower and got frosty in the last 7 days (5% amber). Buds look exactly like the photo here. Rock hard buds, even the lower ones. Smells like fruity lighter fluid with a hint of clove. Final dry/cured flower came in at 48 grams. (Posted on 9/4/2023)
Nice n Easy. potent and quick, but not 6 weeks - Review by Bootsy
Quality
Grew one of these outdoors in Nova Scotia and harvested nicely mid September. had to trim a lot because of bushiness and even then lost a little to bud rot. Plant grew to 3 ft tall with one topping. got 2.5 oz of fully trimmed bud and an ounce of really sweet sugar leaves. Definitely an effective indica. Taste was okay but not great. Grew a clone from the outdoor one, flowered right away as part of a sea of green, and she harvested in 7 weeks. she was no trouble at all compared to others. Very nice buzz, but again just ok taste. I like it. (Posted on 10/13/2021)
NOT 42 day plant. - Review by BigDaddyCool 73
Quality
Grew Kushy Kush outside in soil. She grew bushy but a little on the smaller side.

DO NOT expect a 42 day flowering plant. I harvested her on Oct 12. She was just beginning to show a few ambers. I would of loved another 7-10 days but had to cut early due to wether concerns.

The smell was different. Akin to lighter fluid. Even during the drying and curing stage.

She smokes very nice with a great buzz. Very nice indica. Very enjoyable couch lock sleepy time buzz ???? (Posted on 11/14/2020)
My favorite Canuck strain - Review by BSB
Quality
I've tried a wack of Canuck strains by buying single seeds to test different varieties. This strain became one of my go to strains for quality smoke. The plant was an average producer but the herb smelled great and was an amazing day time happy high. (Posted on 11/28/2019)

Strong Strain - Review by Jeff
Quality
I only purchased one seed, but made two clones so I was able to harvest three plants. Very strong genetics, I Topped, Low stress trained, and defoliated quite a bit and this plant never cared. Ended up flowering for 62 days, great flavor, averaged 3oz per plant. Not a couch lock stoney high, for sure more sativa (Posted on 6/2/2019)

Good strain ,strong robust growth.,i had 2 different phenos one was the same as the og blaze review ,just a crazy smell .good tho !! and at 9 wk to finish . The other more typical indica traits better growth patter for sea of green, mild but better aroma better bud formation and density, also finshes a wk earlier. Yield i got wasnt what i was hoping for but was decent probably just needs tweeking . it was along side canuks green crack, critical widow and critical mass so its stiff competition ! but everyone who was skeptical about the first pheno who got to taste test it with me absolutely loved it . Its worth a try . The outdoor finish date looks so far to be pretty close as well being the 21 of sep.. and they are growers outdoors too !! . Well done guys you are consistently producing great results , id like to say that ive never had a single seed not germinate or grow healthy .that alone is remarkable and ive tried alot of your strains. going on 23yrs of growin ive bought alot of seeds that never germinated , keep it up !! So ya the kushy kush was actually the favorite for a short time.... until ppl tried your green crack lol. thanks again. (Posted on 9/22/2018)

Not A 6 weeker! - Review by Anthony
Quality
Im on week 6 right now, still tons of white pistols, buds have just started forming. this will be 9-10 weeks forsure!
The plant barely stretches under LEDS, about 30% stretch. Very easy to grow, she likes a little less N than others out there.

First Review after Sprout. - Review by Thundrfuk
Quality
Got these seeds in a mater of 2 days from purchase, popped them in a damp paper towel inside of a ziplock bag on a heat mat. Less than 24 hours they popped open and had 100% germination! This Kush has a really healthy root system and needs a large pot to accommodate it. At first I found it to be a little lanky but after it started producing 5 finger leaves it shortened its node intervals. I'm only about 3 weeks into veg so I will be making an update once I harvest, overall seems like it has strong genetics and is fairly short stature - large fan leaves tho.... Stay tuned for an update in about 9 week! (Posted on 3/1/2017)
Great High not kush - Review by Polo
Quality
This is the second review to the previous one.
As stated in the first review, this is not a 6 week plant. It turned out to be an 8 week plant for us and didn't produce the kush smell or high. This produced a very euphoric daytime high. The Review is a 3 because it was still a great high and the plant produced a great amount of flower. (Posted on 2/20/2017)

Finding Strands - Review by Polo
Quality
We took a chance on Kushy Kush mainly because it said it was 6 week flowering photo period, was hard to believe but thought we would have to try just in case. Just as expected it was too good to be true, 6 weeks is looking closer to 9. The plant grows very fast, very bushy and roots extremely well and seems to be delivering on other claims. Looks to be a good producer and has nice sized nugs developing on all regions of the plant. We are into the end of week 6 and buds have still the creamy white look and are ready for another spurt. I will update again why we find the quality and consistence after harvest. However I wanted to post now so people willing to try new things like myself are not disappointed by the 6 week claim. This still looks to be producing many large hard colas, and still looks to be worth looking into. However 6 weeks is well out the door in time frame. (Posted on 1/17/2017)

kushalicious! - Review by OGBlaze

dunno if ppl care about growing conditions or not, but if so...outdoor mid-atlantic guerrilla grow, using something close to super soil. needed to limit plant size for stealth so used smaller grow bags (the blue fabric shopping bags at WalMart- got 'em on sale for .50/ea) and topped multiple times to keep plants shorter. germ in peat pots, grown in organic super soil, using only well water (although unfiltered); no fertilizers or pesticides. hung 7 days, cured in mason jars. short, bushy plants with buds so close it was hard to trim this strain; lotta sugarleaf though. smells somethng close to lighter fluid in the jar, but not quite. smokes smooth with a nice buzz.
