Big Bud Super Skunk was selected phenotypically many years ago. It’s well known for its numerous awards in various cannabis cups.
CBD Botanic's Big Bud Super Skunk is a hybrid variety with indica predominance. It is one of the plants that CBD Botanic like for its speed in production and its quality is spectacular, full of trichomes on the leaves near the flower.
Ideal for making extracts, as its resin is very powerful and is perfect to sample their flavors and effects. Inside, this plant has a spectacular and rapid growth, with short inter-nodes ideal for planting more numbers of plants per meter, making compact and resinous flowers, with few leaves perfect for pruning by hand.
This strain is also very easy to grow outside, the structure of this plant is in the form of fir reaching up to 1.70 meters tall or more depending on the grower.
This strain was among the first seeds I ordered through this company and it was without a doubt the most impressive strain amongst all the other plants. I vegged her for 5 weeks, allowing me to lst her for her first few weeks as a youngin, followed by being able to top her newest nodes numerous times. That ultimately provided me with a shorter, bushier plant which ended up sprouting over 30 main top cola sites come flower time. With the help of some grow/bloom nutes as well as some compost tea, giving her some beneficial microbes that created a symbiotic relationship with her roots allowing for increased water/nutrient uptake, which in turn greatly increased her ability to uptake & absorb the bloom nutrients, as well as the bud ignitor & terpene production nutrients by upwards of 80% resulting in one of my most successful crops to date. With the right training and cropping techniques she gave me just over 3 ounces of gorgeous, monstrous king colas with an added purple hue with the addition of cooler air temps through the last couple weeks of flower (Posted on 3/7/2019)
In veg the plants didn't require special attention. Veg for 3 months and just under 5oz per plant with 600w HPS. This plant makes very good extract. It finished up in a little under 9 weeks. I could have picked it sooner, but I like my trichomes more mature. Do not pick early ! Make sure you get your yo-yos ready, because they will topple. (Posted on 9/28/2018)
