Canuk Seeds proud to present one of our newest strains, fit for a Pharaoh, King Tut !
By crossing our famous AK Fem strain with a different strain of Ruderalis we have truly created a strain that Horus himself would be proud of.
King Tut is well known for it’s long lasting cerebral effects and soaring levels of THC this sativa dominant hybrid is sure to keep you alert and engaged in both creative and social engagements.
Coming from parenting genetics of South America, Colombia, Mexico, as well as Thailand and the Ruderalis variety this strain has a complex blend of flavors and effects.
Maintaining some of her AK genetics, King Tut has a fairly short flowering time of 53-63 days (indoors) and is known to branch out in the veg period and produce dense indica-like buds with earthy, pungent, and sweet tastes as well as a staggering yield at up to 1200g outdoors.
I have grown this strain twice now and it's size indoor and outdoor are huge!
The 2 indoor I grew last year each yielded just over a quarter pound! The smoke on it was pretty good but I messed up the cure. Still had decent potency though.
My outdoor grow this year I have one in a 15 gallon pot and for my space it's as big as the pyramids! And I have two other plants also very large plants with on being a White Widow from Canuk. If all goes well I'm guessing this one King Tut might be just shy of a one pound yield. But if I had it in a bigger container like a 30 gallon and a better location in the region live... I could see a1200 gram yield happening per plant outdoors. (Posted on 8/8/2021)
This summer was my first time ever growing. I'm pretty happy with how it all went down given that I didn't know what to expect. Tut was huge and my biggest yield at 1.5 lbs. I think it would have yielded more but I think I didn't water enough during flowering; as a result the buds were popcorn sized and airy. live and learn - Will definitely try it again another summer. Good solid cerebral high. Classic strain. (Posted on 12/12/2020)
this plant was amazing, the size of it was huge, the smell was so fruity you could almost taste it. The quality on the buds was nuts and just overall the genetics of this plant where bang on. To bad it got stolen a week before harvest.. I hope the people who stole it enjoy It becuase it was something else. but I highly recommend this strain to anyone (Posted on 9/21/2020)
I've only grown one of these so far, but the node spacing is TIGHT. I ended up prunning out smaller branches inside as well as lots of defoliation and leaf tucking and it still looked like a shaggy little Cousin It, Either lower light or different training or something is needed to cut down on maintenance. Nice plant though and yields were very good, so I can't complain! If it's structure were a bit more forgiving it would be an easy 5 (Posted on 4/1/2020)
Enough has been said on the quality of the smoke, so I will just share my experience on the grow. I germinated 2 stout little seedlings and vegged for about a week and half, and topped twice. The plant transitions quickly into flower with zero stretch. I will say that again; zero stretch. I wish I had known that going in, as I would have used different methods for the grow. You need to keep the inner canopy cleared out, and expect a short plant with about 1.5 inches between internodes. This might be a good strain for SOG, Solo cups, or Aeroponic grows. I bought one seed. I germinated it about as sloppily as could, using a really bad method that I will never use again.
To the point this little seed is strong and a quick mover. She is 4 weeks solid into flowering and the buds are HUGE. I haven’t smoked it yet clearly but the terpene profile is one point. It’s going to be good quality smoke and a lot of it. Off of a sq meter I should pull nothing less than 25 oz. I will update later. (Posted on 8/21/2019)
Wow i am impressed again with Canuk Seeds. I have had nothing but luck with their seeds. It did not matter if it was a freebee with purchase or the ones that were purchased. They are monsters being moved to flowering at 9 weeks do to size. Great job once again! . That is that. (Posted on 1/31/2019)
I have had great luck with the promo seeds i had had on past orders. They are the Canuk time and time again. So i figured why not just try them from off the start. I wanted to try the King Tut but could not decide whose version to buy. So i decided this would be the one to order. I am always excited off the rip when they all pop. They are just 3 weeks but excelling on a in door grow. I am using LED lights on a 18 / 6. No special nutes or tricks. (Posted on 12/8/2018)
I had some difficulty growing this one. Mostly due to my lack of experience. My plants were grown indoors under 600W LED lights. Grown in a mix of Frog Farm peat and vermiculite with another brand name compost mixture. I used General Hydroponics nutrient solutions through the whole grow. The first seed I grew I used topping and LST methods and the plant didn't seem to respond all that well to my attempts at an even canopy. This plant grows a lot of side branches and a crowded canopy with this much foliage will not produce the greatest quality bud.
The second attempt I generally left the plant alone. However, I did top the FIM the plant at the 10th node and she grew 4 main top colas and 18 colas that were slightly lower. This method seems to have produced a much more dense and uniform shaped bud throughout the canopy and I was much happier with the results. This plant also favors cloth pots over plastic containers. She will grow fast and produce a lot of roots to support the large amount of foliage in the cannopy.

The effects are very cerebral. A strong high that goes straight to the head. Her flavors are fruity with a hint of citrus. The taste reminds me of lemon drops that I ate all the time as a kid. You will feel a sense of euphoria that lasts about 2 hours with an urge to get up and clean your house or get involved in some type of creative activity. Also good for hours of gaming. There haven't been many side effects to moderate use. However, too much and you can slip into an anxious state with a mild sense of paranoia. (Posted on 11/7/2018)
I sprouted a three pack of these with a 100% success rate. I planted these three outdoors in the soil and used them as mothers for cloning throughout the spring and summer. They have responded extremely well to topping and the tie down methods. I have many of the clones I took in A deep culture hydroponics system and they are doing phenomenal. Im about 3 weeks out from outdoor harvest and I think its fair to say that it is definitely possible to exceed 1200 grams of dried product per plant if properly grown outside. On top of that the Amount of color and trichome production is out purely amazing.
Definitely a must have for my garden!!! (Posted on 9/14/2018)
I did a five strain grow earlier in the year, and this one was my favorite, I had cookies, northern lights, king tut, blueberry and coma kush all in the same tent, all by Canuk. I really loved the smell of King Tut, it yielded well and tasted great. Gave an amazing effect. (Posted on 10/30/2017)
I germinated 2 seeds and grew in a 4 x 4 tent with 2 other plants. The king tut dominated the tent and produced 8 oz of king tut. Very nice tasting and STRONG weed. I was very impressed with the way it grew and how strong the seedlings were. I will get it again! (Posted on 8/6/2017)
