Gelato is another cannabis classic originally created by the Cookies Fam.
These impressive genetics were derived by crossing Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mints GSC.
With its mostly indica characteristics you can expect a massive yield of highly potent dense buds.
These nugs produce dark purple hues, bright copper pistils, and a crazy amount of crystal trichomes.
Gelato flowers between 8-9 weeks and produces around 450-550 g/m2.
This strain has an insane THC content that is 25% or higher.
As to be expected, this is a heavy-hitting strain that may leave you couch-locked and pleasantly relaxed.
Sweet and fruity notes with a hint of citrus and cookies best describes the flavor and aroma of Gelato.

Best so far indoor and outdoor! - Review byBuzz
I’ve grown this strain for 3 runs inside now and my first outside (southern Ontario Canada) it’s an amazing plant, easy to grow, awesome taste/smell and just covered in crystals.
This plant is super resistant to the bad weather outside.
I’m a huge lover of the super lemon haze and this tops that plant.
Everyone who’s tried it loves it.
I grow it with Gaia green (444/284) and worm castings with a couple teas mixed in with molasses (very easy to do) and it’ll give you amazing results.
Just wow. (Posted on 9/19/2021)
Another Great Strain from CANUK. - Review byB.
Once again, CANUK provides another quality cannabis strain. She was aggressive, responded well to HST & LST with little recovery time. SCROG setup proven to allow her to produce high yields. Proper flush / 35 day cure and beautiful, like a vintage bourdeaux. Definitely happy with this strain.
Cheers! (Posted on 7/30/2021)

Fantastic strain! - Review byTeddy
I've been growing for 20 years and have grown over 100 different strains in search for the best of the best. Gelato is an amazing strain. I grew two seeds and both plants were identical, which is a great sign of a stable strain. The buds are dense and the overall structure of the plant was great. While growing she went thru different smell stages. At first the sweetness was overpowering. Truly smelled like gelato or some other kind of candy or dessert. Then she smelled kind of like sweet skunk. Now that she's hanging and drying she smells like pure OG Kush dankness. I harvested her Oct. 15 which is a bit of a late harvest but she held up really well against the two frosts we had here in south-central Ontario ( just north of Brighton). Other plants had leaves that died from the frost whereas you can't even tell that Gelato went thru the same kind of conditions. No mold or rot whatsoever even with the dense buds. Highly recommend this strain if you're looking for dense, potent buds that hold up extremely well to the elements. (Posted on 10/18/2020)
Can’t wait!! - Review byFE Mike
Day 40 in flower and I see long spear shaped buds covered in resin that started very early and pilling on daily. This pheno stretched quite a bit and smells like GSC with cherry that comes on afterwards. Also, like islandgrower, I had another plant right beside it with spider mites and Gelato hasn’t been affected at all. I’ll be back with final review (Posted on 8/23/2020)
Great Strain - Review byOttoGelato
One out of seven seeds didn’t hem and 1 was a runt, but the other five plants were outstanding.
Great orange marmalade smell and a very smooth smoke. The high is one of the nicest I’ve has it’s a nice cross of active Sativa type uplift and Indica like sedatative (Posted on 2/15/2020)

bushy - Review byislandgrower
seeds popped within a day or two, they grew fast and strong , very bushy , nice hard buds, other plants in the garden out doors had mites, but not this girl , gr8 genes at work here! easy to grow indoor and out. typical complex plant in that the buds are not very large , but there is A LOT of medium size buds. 9 wks under a spectrum king LED (Posted on 7/21/2019)
Looks promising, strong plants. - Review byAA
Picked up 3 seeds, all germed within 24 hours ( glass of h2o methed). In terms of growth, all three are out pacing the others in the tent, strong plants so far, looking nice...will send more info once their a couple months old. (Posted on 4/16/2019)
