Cheese Auto Feminized Seeds (Canuk Seeds) - A Quick Overview

Canuk Seeds’ Cheese strain is top-shelf, and those that grow it aren’t disappointed.

Our autoflowering variety of this cannabis classic is no different.

They say that Cheese is the Kush of the U.K- they aren’t wrong.

The Exodus Crew created Cheese by frosting a Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 phenotype with Afghani #1.

This strain is a Cannabis Cup winner and continues to be a top-10 strain sold not just in Amsterdam, but globally.

Cheese Auto flowers within 8 weeks and produces an impressive yield of densely dank buds. It’s a well balanced hybrid with THC content that tops out around 22%.

Depending on your ECS (endocannabinoid system), this strain provides cerebral and physical relaxation without feeling groggy.

If you’re an outdoor grower, Cheese Auto should be harvested at the end of October.

When cultivating indoors, you can expect around 650 grams of dry bud with every 600 watt hps light you use.

This one grew small but the buzz and taste were okay. (Posted on 11/28/2023)
One of the best auto plants I've ever grown - Review by Maximus
Quality
It's rare that I leave reviews, but this was a truly great plant. Received one seed as freebie as part of an order and ended up being the best auto of the bunch by far. Probably around 2.5-3 ozs and pretty easy to grow. Great taste and very smooth. Found it to be uplifting and a great daytime smoke. Definitely plan on ordering more. Planted in soil in 7 gallon fabric pot, outdoor, and using all organics (worm tea, guano, molasses, etc). (Posted on 9/9/2023)

Cheese Auto - Review by Ganja Doc
Quality
Cheese Auto is one beauty auto strain offered from Canuk Seeds. It has been one of my favourite over the last 2 years and every time I grow this one. She’s a beauty and produces some of the finest medicine.
One of the easiest autos I’ve grown and she will yield when given a stress free life.
This auto strain is a quick vegetation strain and every time I’ve grown this one, she starts her flower transition usually from day 14-18 from germination. So her auto genetics are very strong and produces some very potent medicine. I typically see this one grow for a period of 11-14 weeks from seed to harvest.
I highly recommend strain to all growers as she won’t disappoint (Posted on 1/13/2023)
Not bad. - Review by Cheeze
Quality
Freebie. Grew alright in my setup. 3g pot, HP Pro-Mix, 1000w Mars Hydro, GH 3 part liquid. I might have nute burned it a bit in the last couple of weeks before flush but I wasn’t changing my mix for a one-off plant. Buds looked good but like someone else had mentioned, they turned out a bit larfy. Pulled about 2+ ounces dried.

Stink? Whoo!!! Sure does. Ran the filter for most of the flower (my main strain, Bruce Banner Fast, only needs it the last week or two).

Sticky? Yup
Potent? Yup
Punch? Yup

I’m not really one to critique weed though. With me it’s go or no-go. So far it’s a “go” from a limited sample size (2 sesh) but It seems to have the punch of any other good bud. How “good” it is for me, remains to be seen.

It’s still a freebie option but I’d go with the Amnesia AUTO FEM again or the Bruce Banner Regular seeds instead on my next order.

was favorited by all - Review by Dsquared
Quality
I grew four canuk auto flowers all the different types. Cheese "Indica", ZkittleZ "Hybrid", LSD "Sativa" and Elixir "CBD". And anytime I asked someone what they wanted to smoke after they tried all those 4 they always replied "Cheese Please". So yeah it was a freebie and it made 3 ounces of super sticky top shelf nugs. And if you get it you won't regret it. (Posted on 6/26/2022)

Grew 1 for my first indoor grow ever to see if I could even keep an envoirment stable, and wow I put this plant threw hell and back and it still pulled 74g in a 2gal pot, would definitely recommend (Posted on 1/14/2021)

Immature seeds but decent results - Review by Gwid
Quality
Got this as a freebie. Very small white-ish green immature seed. It still germinated and grew quite fast. Did a lot of LST on it. I thought I would get some decent nugs but the end result was kind of a disappointment. Nice crystal coating and the smell is interesting too but the buds were very larfy. Still got 2.5oz dry but a lot of popcorn buds beside the tops. It suffered a little bit of nute burn in early flower so maybe that stunted it's growth at an important stage? I saw some nice results online so I'm guessing it's from my mistakes and not the genetics. Final thoughts: a decent strain for a first grow. Smells nice and produces frosty buds. Nice mellow body high I rate it 7/10. Happy growing! (Posted on 12/31/2020)
Biggest Auto in my tent - Review by Lucas
Quality
Like most reviewers here, mine was a freebie. Wasn’t expecting much but this auto is the biggest one in my tent out of 7 total (the barney’s Farm LSD is a close second though). Super healthy, vigorous growth. (Posted on 12/17/2020)
Great bud low yield - Review by Unday
Quality
Would definitely purchase the photo version of this but as far as autos go I found I found it a bit unstable between the two freebies. Even gave away another individual auto I purchased from canuck bc of these autos but that being said it was quality just unstable. High hopes for their photos though ???? (Posted on 11/22/2020)
Well Done - Review by Mike
Quality
Ordered first part of April when a sale was running and received mid May. This was my freebie. Started germination approx 6/1 in peat pots and harvested approx 9/1. Started with a 600w light and switched to a 1000w SF LED quantum board about 3 weeks in. This really made a difference over the burple lights I had used (with success). Small tent, 20/4, and Fox Farm trio. First buds were ready approx 8/20 and did a partial harvest on this finishing approx 9/1. This ran a little behind a Sweet Tooth I grew alongside but after about 6 weeks it caught up to it and probably surpassed it yield wise in the end. Great buds and great smoke. Recommended. Awesome plant - Review by Smokin Joe
Quality
Got this as a free seed, it germinated very quick, put it in a 3gal pot with promix and it only grew 5 inches in 3 weeks. Got pissed off and dug it out of the dirt, washed it down to the roots and stuck it in a DWC bucket. It took very well and is growing like crazy, topped it 5 days ago and have to adjust my lst 2 times a day because it is growing so fast, it just started to flower so in 2 months I will have an awesome plant. (even had a bout of root rot and it's still going strong) Just put it under 1000 watt lights and it exploded in 2 days, its crazy shit and I can;t wait. Good luck all growers. (Posted on 4/30/2020)
Blown Away! - Review by Jarmy Kramuh
Quality
This auto completely blew my mind! It grew vigorously from the time it popped a tap root, to the day i harvested her. I had her in a 2 gallon pot with Mother Earth Coco/Peat and i fed using Dakine420 nutes. It was grown in a 3x3 tent under a Spider Farmer 1000w LED QB, and a Mars Hydro 1000w LED. It veg'd roughly 3.5-4 weeks before showing preflowers. It flowered for almost 8 weeks before i was happy enough with the trichomes to chop it.. i harvested 84 grams dried off an auto in a 2 gallon pot. WOW (Posted on 4/22/2020)

Good, but with reservations - Review by Mark
Quality
Grew two of these in 7 gal fabric pots and full sun, with moderate feeding. Both grew into nice full bushes loaded with colas, one to 97 CM, the other 103 CM. Harvested one early in the 11th week, the other late same week. The earlier & smaller one was loaded with fragrant sticky trichomes, the larger one was oddly absent of both the abundance of trichomes, and odor. The smaller one was riddled with botrytis, fully half had to be discarded but it still yielded 116g. The larger one was absolutely unscathed with mold and yielded 250g. Many nights of heavy dew likely contributed to mold. Like my other Canuk ''two at a time'' grows, no two of any strain have been alike. (Posted on 10/7/2019)
Sweet Cheese & Grapes - Review by Bam Bam

Got this as a free seed. Amazing strain, took 100 days for mine to finish. Didn't top it just a little LST. 2.5 X 2.5 tent with 300w Kind got 79.5G. Smell was amazing, mine smelled of sweet cheese & Grapes, got some pink & purple hues & frosted from top to bottom. Would definitely go for these seeds again. Great night too! Able to function but she will make the eyes heavy on the come down at lestfor me it does. Happily Blazed! (Posted on 9/16/2019)
Recommend - Review by Anthony
Quality
Definitely a fast grower, and smells amazing. Grew in pro mix, and top dressed soil with worm castings, and have straight rain water. Middle of flower and the thrichrome production is definitely amazing. My plant stayed short and stout but is looking like it’s going to be a heavier yield, and it was also low stressed trained. Would recommend strain (Posted on 9/10/2019)

Excellent Freebie - Review by Mark
Quality
This freebie grew twice as big and yielded twice as much as the other autos in the batch. In flower it had a very sweet aroma. I let it go until ~50% amber trichomes. The smoke is extremely relaxing and stress relieving, more than some of the CBD strains I grew. (Posted on 4/12/2019)
surprising - Review by Joseph

this came as a freebie,I can't say enough good about it,4 of us are battling chronic, and terminal conditions this strain was easy to grow and everything went into oil, then vape juice and the final product was the favorite especially after long painful days at the hospital the uplifting mood and medical benefits could only be matched by 3 other strains,I highly recommend all to give it a try,you won't be disappointed. Beutiful flavour - Review by Robert

Given wrong Cheese - Review by RyNokie
Quality
Well
I left two reviews about the auto Cheese that where all good but I just found out my Auto is actually a photo which really offset my grow because I ain't ready for photos yet so I had to switch to 12/12 in my autoflower tent just so I don't run out of space for the photo Cheese. The 2 autoflowers ate handling the 12/12 switch and are growing beautifully. The Cheese is growing excellent and I should have just enough room for her, it's to bad I won't have the tent till next year. So I'll be posting my end review of the Cheese on the (photo) Feminized Cheese and not the auto Cheese if you would like to see the end result. Again all three plants are doing fabulous, 2 autoflower from Oasis and the Cheese.
I have been slowly stocking up with photos from Canucks because I am planning on going photo's next year along with my auto's.
Still loving the selection and promos Canuk and your Cheese is growing nicely with not one complaint and thanks TNSB for bringing us such selection from great seed bank genetics and promos.
P.S Canucks can you get more of your canuk mugs, I would really enjoy one of your mugs to go with my up coming TNSB mug. (Posted on 10/28/2018)
4 for Great Beginning - Review by Nokie

This is my free seed and so far so good. I'm legally allow due to a work accident, I chose cheese because of (I'm hoping to be true) classic skunk. Organic grown, sprouted in 3 days, slim but strong stock with a healthy green. 14d and growing fast, node distance actually pretty good with branching beginning. Nice strong stock with beautiful green leaves.
Will come back to change to a 5 star if all goes well and great job Canucks :will be back for more from you. Has well as loving the selection TNSB,awesome work. (Posted on 9/22/2018)

I only freebie sprouted in three days (1st soaked for 12 hours then place in soil pot at tent temp (ph tap water for both).
Then placed under led to keep warm.
The seedling looks very strong from leaf to stock. I'll leave more reviews as she grows.

Nice plant! - Review by Gogo
Quality
I'm into week 9 and she is just now starting to feed off of her fan leaves. The buds never stopped growing, everyday you could see a difference. Started turning purple at about day 63 with nighttime temps at 64*f. Lots of bud sites, probably could have been topped. Buds are dense, they should be under COB lighting at 1400ma! She really needed no liquid nutes, I use amended FFOF. My supersoil. The smell is mild not as skunky as I'm use to. The resin is building nicely. Great plant, I would recommend it! Fun for a beginner, easy plant. (Posted on 1/27/2018)

As this was a free seed I thought I would try something different I decided to grow it under a 4 foot 4 tube HO T5 with PH perfect two part grow nutrients ended up getting about 47 grams dry I did some light LST and clipped all the sucker shoots overall I was extremely impressed the effects were dull yet relaxing the taste and smell could have been improved on my part as I kept it super simple (Posted on 12/13/2017)
First Canuk Strain; Very Pleased - Review by April
Quality
This strain performed well throughout - from germination to harvest. After 2 hours of being jarred up - buds developed very strong, classic Cheese scent that got stronger and stronger over the next few days. Nice smooth smoke with decent THC levels - at least to this stoner. Solid Indica high - good for the evening and sleep. Nice work Canuk - look forward to growing your Super Lemon Haze seeds. Really dank - Review by Jake
Quality
This plant went through a lot.. the seed immediately germinated and sprouted a strong healthy seedling.. until someone soaked it with pool water.. she was able to make a full recovery even though it did stunt her growth. She grew about 10'' tall due to the stunting from the pool water.. but boy did she produce a highly resinous, dank smelling bud. The bud was dense and absolutely coated from top to bottom in sticky trichomes, the smell was amazing, and the smoke even better, giving the classic tasting cheese smoke and high. I only got one seed but will definitely have to get more as this is easily one of my favorite strains. (Posted on 9/8/2017)
Wanted to be impressed, but was extremely let down. - Review by Dilligara2u
Quality
I ordered 3 different strains and started them all at the same time. Both of the other strains germinated beautifully and grew terrific. I'm thinking this particular seed was a Limburger Cheese, it really stunk. Germinated later than the other 2 then started to grow lopsided and very oddly. It only made it to about 4'' tall and then began to grow in a corkscrew pattern and became very spindly before it just died. I'm hoping it was a fluke, as I am wanting to try this one again. Only time will tell until my next review of this particular strain. (Posted on 7/16/2017)

I'm in Alaska. Weeds been legal here since 1972. So I've been around a few plants. This auto cheese is 28 days old, since germination. And already has 11 blades on the leaves. Today I start with colloidal silver. This one's a keeper!! (Posted on 4/23/2017)
Great genetics - Review by JOHN

My first order was this strain and I have nothing but good things to say about canuk...timely, discreet, and most importantly, quality genetics allow the plant to shine as mother nature intended. Curing this baby longer provided more depth and beauty. (Posted on 4/17/2017)
Mutated plant. - Review by Jack
Quality
Started slower then other canuk autos. Grew very short. Some branches auto split in 2...like it self topped. Some nodes grew 3 leaves at a time instead of the normal 2. 4 colas turned bluish with 15c night temps. 22c day. End product was a dense bunch of fan leaves coated in sugar with calyxes in there somewhere. Trimmed half the 'buds' away to get down to the real stuff. Plenty of trim fir dry ice hash. Got about 90g after aggressive trim. Grew in coco under mars hydro 48 reflector led. (Posted on 4/2/2017)

Cheese Auto Funk Out The Gate - Review by J

I got 7 varities of canuk seeds and every one germed and doing very well, except for chesse auto. It started with a what looked like a disease right out of the seed, and was clinging to life. After 3 weeks she is only a quarter of what my others are. Thinking about flowering earlier and moving away from my robust plants. Bad apples ya know..lol but hey I am happy with Canuk altogether great seeds! Not all can be winners. Willing to try it again based on my other plants. (Posted on 9/14/2016)
