pleasant surprise - Review by Gregory
Quality
germinated 3 seeds all spouted in a couple of days, planted them outside , and the weather went to hell in a hand basket. Rained pretty much non stop from may 20 until the 1st week of july, windy and cold. (our high temp for july 1st was a freaking 5 c ). The plants all broke the surface in about a 3 to 7 days but 1 never shed the seed husk, pulled it 3 weeks later and redid another 1. the plants grew a few tiers then stalled because of the weather and 2 had excess moisture issues ( 1 original plant and the 1 i redid ). thankfully when we got some sun they kicked in and grew to 70 cm except 1 with water issues which grew no more then 30 -35 cm. they grew with super strong stalks ( no need to help support them) and very dense thick buds and with trichromes all over the place even on the guard leaves on the side branches. Allowing for drying (dividing the wet weight by 4.4) I should get 1 oz of trimmed bud from the short 1 and 2 oz from the bigger 1. The 1 I replanted is still in the ground and has 2 -3 weeks to go yet. The 2 that I harvested grew a total of 11.5 to 12 weeks, so I figure the weather was so crappy that they stalled in their life span as well as growth which suits me just fine. I flashed dried some to try , didn't expect much these are not high in thc ( going to use them to make cbd oil) but was surprised , it was a nice smoke and even tasted ok which flash drying doesn't help. From looking at the 1still growing I think I should get around 2 oz from it as well (Posted on 8/5/2019)
